English as a Second Language (ESL) and Citizenship Classes
Pui Tak Center offers ESL classes designed for young adults to elderly learners. Develop English communication skills to get a better job, further education, become a U.S citizen and converse with those outside of Chinatown.
Students will learn how to use these skills inside the classroom and outside in the community. Get step-by-step instructions from the teacher, lessons for students, tutoring opportunities and visual support materials to facilitate learning for students who have few literacy skills in English.

Students must meet the following requirements to be eligible for registration:
Student is an Illinois resident (must provide proof of address)
Student is NOT an F-1 visa holder
Student enrolling in the citizenship class must be eligible to become a U.S. citizen within one year (Chinese class only)
